Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs) allow to derive unique key(s) per device. There are many applications such as trustworthy “device onboarding” without the need for an external Hardware Security Module (HSM).
In this webinar, we will detail the features to considered when choosing a PUF, namely: most and foremost, reliability, second, entropy, third, the management of (optional) helper data, and finally flexibility and portability.
Those properties will be outlined in compliance with the current applicable standard namely ISO/IEC 20897.
