Side Channel Attacks trends. Compliance to FIPS 140-3, PQC and Hardware Trojan detection.
Webinar held on Tuesday, February 28th
LABORYZRTM SERIES
Side-Channel Attacks (SCA) are attacks that do not target the algorithms themselves, but rather their implementation. Standardized cryptographic algorithms such as AES, SM4, HMAC, SM2, etc. are mathematically secure but their implementation can feature some vulnerabilities which may allow an attacker to recover the sensitive assets that are manipulated by these algorithms. These vulnerabilities can be related with various kinds of side-channel information leakage, such as computation time, power consumption, electromagnetic emanation, etc.
Side-channel attacks form an often-overlooked security vulnerability for electronic systems. However, if you want to ensure a comprehensive security, SCA protection should be part of the mix.
In this webinar, Secure-IC’s team will go through the latest in SCA protection and will advise on how to best secure the implementation of security algorithms in the IP blocks. We will also explain how Secure-IC’s AnalyzrTM can evaluate Side-Channel security and vulnerability to Fault Injection at the post-silicon stage in orther to achieve the highest level of certification. We will finish by a demo of Secure-IC’s new LaboryzrTM platform.
This webinar is the first of the LaboryzrTM series of webinars that will be run during 2023.
This webinar will help you understand:
- What are the updates and trends for 2023 in analysis & evaluation?
- What are side-channel attacks and why we should care about them?
- How can we evaluate the relevance of hardware trojan threats?
- How to get protected from side-channel and hardware trojan attacks?
- What is FIPS 140-3 certification and how can Secure-IC help you get certified?
- What is new and how to succeed the transition to PQC?
